Sales And Marketing Role

Job Purpose: The Sales and Marketing Role involves promoting and selling transportation and travel services, building relationships with clients and industry partners, and driving revenue through effective marketing strategies and sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Client Acquisition: Identifying and reaching out to potential clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and converting them to customers.
  • Sales Presentations and Consultations: Presenting transportation and travel packages, destinations and services to clients, providing expert advice, and tailoring itineraries to their specific needs.
  • Booking And Coordination: Handling bookings, managing transportation arrangements and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
  • Relationship Building: Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business and developing relationships with industry partners (example: hotels, event venues and promotors).
  • Sales Reporting: Tracking sales performance, identifying trends and providing regular statistics to the management team.
  • Marketing Market Research: Conduct market research to identify target audiences, understand customer preferences and monitor competition.
  • Marketing Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to promote transportation services and attract new passengers.
  • Advertising and Promotion: Manage advertising campaigns, participate in trade shows and organize promotional events.

Skills:

  • Strong Sales Skills: Ability to effectively communicate, persuade and close sales.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Ability to build rapport with clients, address their needs, and provide exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Industry: Understanding of logistics, travel trends and best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using Excel and Microsoft Word and other relevant software.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with customers and deescalate complaints.

Education: 4 year college with a business related degree preferred
