Electrical Counter / Inside Sales Associate

Power-Flo Technologies is a leading distributor of electrical equipment offering one of the most comprehensive product and service portfolios in the state. As the Counter Sales / Inside Sales Associate, you will be responsible for aiding customers during the sales and purchase process and for responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner.

Electrical Counter / Inside Sales Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist customers (in person or over the phone) during a sales inquiry, in an effective and efficient manner that encourages return business.
• Accurately conducts the sales transactions, at the counter or by phone, by appropriately entering the customer order in the system.
• Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge, information and promotions. Suggests alternative product when appropriate.
• Picks and fills orders when appropriate. Assures that orders leaving the warehouse are checked and accompanied, by the appropriate documentation.
• Purchase special order material, for customers, as per company procedure. Expedite open orders.
• Process product returns, per company procedure assuring that all documentation is collected.
• Assist in maintaining the counter and product display area assuring a clean, safe and orderly environment.
• Assist warehouse, as needed.

Electrical Counter / Inside Sales Necessary Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Electrical background preferred
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats
• Strong customer service orientation
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• High school diploma or equivalent, as determined by the company
• A valid and clean driver's license to travel to local vendors as needed

Electrical Counter / Inside Sales Physical Ability and Other Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone
• Ability to routinely lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 70 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 70 lbs.
• A valid and clean driver's license to attend trainings and company wide events as needed

$17 - $24/hour (depending on direct industry and product experience)
