This US-based role is part of the broader team covering audits over US Consumer Services, Digital Labs, and Global Advertising & Brand management business units. This role specifically will support audits over AXP brand-level and US Consumer product-level marketing strategy-setting and execution, as well as enterprise-wide communications and marketing technology capabilities/ experiences.
Key responsibilities include: acting as an auditor in charge (AIC) on more complex audits and/or leading multiple simultaneous low-risk audits, analyzing/reviewing audit results and documentation, leading audit client meetings and walkthroughs, developing test steps, audit findings, and the audit report, guiding team on how to validate and execute corrective actions, supporting business monitoring activities, delegating tasks to team members, serving as a people leader, coaching, mentoring, and developing less experienced colleagues, conducting post-audit feedback discussions, guiding team to communicate task status, roadblocks, challenges, suggesting potential solutions, beginning to develop subject matter expertise in a specific line of business, serving as the first level of escalation, attending report/issue conversations with management, reporting on assigned tasks in client reporting meetings, and following up with management to ensure management action plans are closed effectively and timely.
Minimum qualifications include six years of audit experience, prior experience working at a Big Four/G-SIB, strong written and verbal communication skills, effective team leadership, critical thinking, and control theory and professional auditing practices. Preferred qualifications include experience with data analytic tools, data visualization, key risk indicators, key performance indicators, information systems/technology, and scorecards/dashboards.
Salary range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually with bonus benefits.
