As the Senior Corporate Legal Attorney - Insurance Products, you will be the primary attorney on day-to-day insurance product matters, with a focus on life insurance products and services. You will provide proactive legal services to the corporation, its subsidiaries, and divisions to safeguard the corporation's rights and assets, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and charter provisions that impact operations and policies. Experience with legal guidance and support of property and casualty products, including auto, homeowners and commercial will also be key facets of this role.

Position Compensation Range:
$111,000.00 - $190,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
Analyze legal questions, conduct legal research, and advise leadership in various areas of the corporation.
Perform all necessary and required legal accountabilities to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Represent the corporation in administrative and regulatory forums.
Review and advise the corporation on proposed and current legislation and regulations in area of expertise.
Provide legal services and participate in development of corporate and enterprise strategies.
Draft, review, and interpret corporation contracts including vendor agreements, document for transactions, and agents' agreements.
Draft and review legal documentation for financial and investment transactions.
Contribute to other department and organization projects as assigned.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
Demonstrated experience performing legal accountabilities independently.
Demonstrated experience providing practical legal analysis in complex and sensitive legal situations.
Demonstrated experience to consistently and proactively identify complex legal and business issues and provide practical legal analysis and advice addressing the issues.
Extensive legal knowledge and expertise in one or more areas of specialty.
Demonstrated experience communicating with tact, diplomacy, and persuasiveness.
Admitted to the state bar in the state where they are located or (1) admission to the bar within one year of hire for individuals who must pass a bar exam or portions of a bar exam to be admitted or (2) bar admission as soon as practicable but no later than 60 days of hire for individuals with diploma privilege or who are eligible for in-house counsel registration.
