Position Details:
Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Travel: Occasional travel between Ellsworth and Bar Harbor properties
Typical Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute marketing strategies across all properties, turning goals into campaigns that highlight our culture and tell our story.
Develop and produce advertising and creative content across digital, print, social media, email, and on-property materials.
Mentor and support marketing team members, helping prioritize projects and maintain high-quality output.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns support business goals and brand consistency.
Maintain brand standards, quality, and compliance across all marketing initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of marketing or creative experience, preferably in hospitality, lifestyle, or multi-property brands
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Design, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; social media and analytics experience a plus
Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and presentation skills
Ability to turn strategy into hands-on creative work while managing multiple priorities
Knowledge of hotel operations preferred
Professional, collaborative, and able to work independently
