Internship Opportunity

Work Place Flexibility: Onsite

Legal Entity: Entergy Operations, Inc.-EOI

Working in a team environment to assist engineers in day to day activities including but not limited to:

Performing design based on project scoping and site visits

Utilizing CAD software to create construction drawings for projects

Preparing relay operational one-line drawings

Validating estimating prices and equipment units, ensuring material is properly ordered and staged for upcoming projects

Managing projects that are in construction

Completion of as-built documentation

Participate in weekly planning coordination calls

Work on special projects to assist in improving grid reliability

Responding to equipment failures

Support lab testing and operations

Support of business analytic processes through data mining and reporting, as well as performing a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis in transmission-related areas such as planning, economic analysis, maintenance, design, project management and construction, and operations

Travel may be required for the position

Education Requirements: Seeking Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering Majors. Junior and Senior candidate preferred. Must be actively pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree as indicated above and at minimum classified as a sophomore or beyond. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher required (on a 4.0 scale).
