The Senior UX Designer for Auto Care Center (ACC) will lead end-to-end experience design across digital and in-store touchpoints. This role drives user discovery, research synthesis, interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing to deliver scalable, customer-first service experiences. You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business leaders to translate complex automotive service workflows into intuitive, trustworthy solutions that serve millions of customers and associates.
The ACC Experience Design team is modernizing Walmart's Auto Care Centers into digitally enabled, customer-first service destinations. We design connected journeys across scheduling, check-in, service, payment, and follow-up - bridging Walmart.com, the app, in-store experiences, and associate tools. Our work impacts thousands of retail locations and millions of customers annually, blending service design, retail operations, and digital product innovation to build the "ACC of the Future."
Lead user discovery through interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, and analytics synthesis
Translate research insights into journey maps, interaction models, and scalable design systems
Design flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visuals, and interactive prototypes
Plan and execute usability testing; iterate based on findings
Influence cross-functional partners and build stakeholder alignment to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes
Expertise in user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
Strong systems thinking and ability to design across complex service ecosystems
Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus in ambiguous environments
Fluency in mobile conventions, design systems, usability testing, and scalable UX best practices

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
