Marketing And Brand Strategy Leader

Ready to make an impact? Lead the development and execution of marketing and brand strategies to drive membership growth, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate will foster a high-performing team and oversee campaigns, communications, and digital marketing initiatives aligned with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

Job duties include engaging direct reports in setting impactful and meaningful objectives, fostering a high-performing and mission-driven team, leading the marketing department in developing and executing creative concepts, integrated marketing campaigns, and brand strategies, working with the senior vice president marketing and mission and with other departments to launch new products and services with effective marketing support, ensuring brand positioning and communication efforts have consistent messaging across all channels, providing strategic leadership in managing communications and public relations efforts, evaluating and recommending emerging marketing technologies and AI tools, directing digital marketing initiatives, ensuring that marketing campaigns support the credit union in meeting goals for growth, product penetration, member retention, and professionalism, establishing clear marketing goals and KPIs aligned with the organization's strategic initiatives, consistently monitoring and assessing direct reports' performance, overseeing budgets for all areas of responsibility, and attending marketing training and/or conferences to remain informed of new marketing strategies, trends, and opportunities.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, journalism, advertising, or similar education, valid driver's license, expertise in creative software and Microsoft 365 products, familiarity with digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, marketing automation, and AI-driven marketing solutions, minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and/or communications, minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in financial services or a credit union environment, ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends, and must be bondable.
