Do you want to contribute to a design system that is experienced daily by tens of thousands of customers – without them knowing it? At Vattenfall, you will have the opportunity to become part of the team that builds our design system in 10 weeks: the foundation of all our digital products and services.

About the internship:

As an intern, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on a modern and innovative design system. This system ensures that our apps and websites are consistent, accessible (WCAG 2.2 / A11Y) and rapidly developed. With this, we make a difference in a market where sustainability, energy transition, and customer convenience are central.

What you will do:

• Work with the latest Figma features such as variables, auto-layout, and design tokens;
• Help with the setup of governance, documentation, and component libraries;
• Collaborate with developers to bring the design system 'live';
• Think about automation and future AI applications;
• Contribute to a short time-to-market for new digital solutions.

Duration: 10 weeks

Location: Amsterdam

Who are you?

You are following a second or third year CMD education and have an interest in design systems, UX/UI design, and collaboration with development. You are curious, eager to learn, and like to take initiative.

Additionally:

• HBO/WO level: internship allowance at full-time internship: €500 per month;
