In this role, you'll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU. As a Product Technician, you'll work as a member of the Garments Discovery team. You'll assist on technical programs contributing to a narrow area of specialization. In this role, some of the key accountabilities are to support of projects and initiatives through product acquisition, bench testing (requests and execution), small scale study planning/placement, coordination of hand-making products and visuals, prototyping, product safety, competitive assessments, and experimental product/material trials.
In this role you will: Support key D&C team programs in various aspects: Quality bench test requests and completion Complete edits of the product specs and drawings Run spec reports to confirm accuracy and quality Acquire products for testing Support commercial line trials and start-ups as necessary Small scale human use study requests Lead Product Preparation Services (PPS) instructions and requests
About Us
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree (broad range of disciplines), or 2+ years post high school technical education plus 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent in relevant education and/or experience Ability to travel locally up to 15% Preferred: Working knowledge of laboratory techniques and/or equipment/machinery operations plus application of scientific methods Product handmaking skills or experience Salary Range: 64,100 – 75,700 USD
