Vice President Marketing - Irving, TX

The Vice President, Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing the marketing budget, leading the marketing team, conducting market research, and collaborating with sales, operations, and executive leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals, such as increasing brand awareness and driving revenue. Key responsibilities include overseeing digital and traditional campaigns, analyzing market trends, and reporting on campaign performance and ROI. The role is pivotal in translating the company's vision into actionable marketing plans that drive business growth and enhance market position. The VP, Marketing will report directly to the President, Commercial Operations and will oversee internal marketing teams.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Crafting innovative marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Driving revenue growth through targeted marketing initiatives
  • Analyzing market trends and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions
  • Overseeing brand management and positioning in the marketplace
  • Leading and developing high-performing marketing teams
  • Ensuring coherent alignment with the brand's identity
  • Fostering engagement and connection with target audiences
  • Implementing data-driven marketing approaches to maximize ROI
  • Coordinating cross-functional efforts to support product launches and sales go

Internal marketing teams: Lead and mentor marketing team. Steering internal marketing teams on their journey through intricate marketing campaigns Building cohesiveness and a shared sense of mission among team members Aligning every individual within the team with the organization's predefined objectives Equipping team members with necessary resources for successful outcomes Taking on challenging decisions when required Cultivating an atmosphere of cooperation that surpasses interdepartmental boundaries

Planning Marketing Strategies: Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies Crafting multi-channel marketing plans encompassing digital, print, and social media Developing innovative public relations tactics to enhance the company's image Initiating targeted paid advertising campaigns to drive sales Continually evaluating and refining marketing approaches for maximum effectiveness

Managing the Marketing Budget Budget oversight: Allocate funds across various campaigns to ensure cost-effectiveness. Financial alignment: Create a budget that reflects the organization's financial resources and goals. ROI focus: Prioritize high-return initiatives and invest in proven strategies. Adaptability: Adjust budgets in response to market changes and emerging opportunities. Performance tracking: Regularly review campaign performance and reallocate funds as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory responsibilities include supervising assigned employees both on site and remotely located, including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or similar related field; Ten (10)+ years proven experience in a senior marketing role, such as VP of Marketing or Marketing Director, with a track record of designing and implementing successful campaigns. Marketing Expertise: Solid knowledge of digital marketing tools, SEO, web analytics, content marketing, and CRM software. Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to evolving market conditions. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Competencies include: Strategic leader with confidence and speed in execution. Must have the ability to interact & influence at the highest levels of the company (incl. with sales, operations, finance, etc.) Change agent, with excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills. Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Results-oriented with strong analytical skills. Sound judgement and decision-making skills Experienced coach and developer of teams, producing leaders and contributors. Strong business acumen; solid understanding of and experience in sourcing, consumption, demand planning, inventory, logistics and production data and critical inputs in the technology Ability to influence and incorporate feedback at high levels. Strong understanding of logistics and manufacturing processes, as well as inventory management principles and compliance at a multinational level Strong ability to move between tactical and strategic aspects of business. Confidence and success in problem resolution; resourceful with ability to adjust to change. Strong financial/business literacy and analytical skills Strong analytical skills to interpret data and analyze trends. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success. In depth knowledge of market research. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
