Led by Visa's first Chief Data Officer, the Global Data Office coordinates high-impact, complex, company-wide projects related to data business strategy, critical investments, policy development, and marketplace execution. Working closely with Visa's Chief Privacy Officer, the Technology organization, the wider data community, and the full set of Visa's global lines of business, the Global Data Office is evolving Visa's data-related work with momentum and enthusiasm. This position plays a critical role in developing commercial data products for enterprise clients—overseeing product management teams and creating cross-functional alignment across the company. The client are typically Visa's partners in the network ecosystems, like issuers and acquirers. The Senior Director will need to secure internal alignment and ensure products follow a disciplined structure from ideation → POC → MVP → GA, driving excellence for all kinds of data products such as dashboards, APIs, model scores, and decisioning tools that deliver measurable business value.

Basic Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience 15+ years in product management with 5+ years leading managers/PM teams at Director level or above; proven delivery of complex, data-intensive products at scale. Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA) a plus. Technical Fluency: Hands-on familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), including data pipelines, storage, streaming, and observability. Security/Privacy: Working knowledge of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and privacy-by-design principles. Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to align executives and lead cross-functional teams; clear communication to both technical and non-technical audiences. Metrics & Iteration: Track record of defining KPIs and iterating post-launch to drive adoption and business outcomes. Agentic AI & ML Product Experience: Background building AI-enabled or agentic AI products; familiarity with planning/action/feedback loops and multi-agent orchestration. Proven record to drive effective organizational change and culture change. Ability to align and deliver on a vision in a global matrixed organization. AI Safety & Governance: Experience mitigating prompt injection and data/model poisoning risks; familiarity with secure AI frameworks. Certifications (Plus): Pragmatic Institute (PM), and/or relevant cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure). Highly adaptive, comfortable working within a complex, and often ambiguous, environment.
