Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma's platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We're seeking a design manager to lead one of Figma's newest frontiers: expressive design. This team is built around four core areas: interaction design, motion, expressive ai, and vectors. You'll push boundaries with vectors, shaders, generative ai, and traditional drawing tools, creating new building blocks and reimagining how people design and build. Formed after the modyfi acquisition, the group has the talent and technical ability to ship fast and push the boundaries of the figma platform.
This role will stretch you as a design leader and partner to product and engineering. You'll define vision in an open space, shape how new technologies meet real user needs, and build tools that let teams create expressive, memorable experiences at scale.
You'll also work with exceptional builders, including founders and former CEOs, who bring deep technical expertise and high craft. This is a humble, ambitious team with a proven track record of shipping.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our us hubs or remotely in the united states.
