Principal, Product Manager - Channel Partnerships

This role is part of the Marketplace Product organization and focuses on building the platform and ecosystem that powers a significant portion of Walmart Marketplace GMV. The team operates at the intersection of product, platform, and growth, working on high-visibility initiatives that directly impact sellers, partners, and customers. It is a strong opportunity for senior product leaders who enjoy ambiguity, cross-functional collaboration, and building platforms at scale. As a Principal Product Manager for Channel Partnerships, you will lead the strategy and execution of Walmart Marketplace's partner ecosystem: powering solution providers, agencies, and developers that drive seller adoption and GMV growth. You will own critical platform surfaces such as the App Store, Solution Provider Center, and partner onboarding experiences, working cross-functionally to scale a trusted, global partner ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive the Channel Partnerships product strategy, including the Marketplace App Store, Solution Provider Center, and partner onboarding.
  • Design and scale a trusted partner ecosystem that balances ease of onboarding with strong governance, security, and quality standards.
  • Define success metrics and continuously optimize for partner adoption, seller acquisition, onboarding time, and partner-led GMV.
  • Partner closely with engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance, and international teams to deliver globally scalable solutions.
  • Shape the long-term direction of the partner ecosystem, including global expansion, agency enablement, and new partnership models.

What You'll Bring

  • Platform and ecosystem product leadership experience building or scaling partner platforms, marketplaces, or developer ecosystems.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to build business cases and prioritize work tied to adoption, GMV, and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence across engineering, design, operations, GTM, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Deep customer and partner empathy, translating feedback into scalable, repeatable product solutions.
  • Clear executive communication skills, including strong written narratives and comfort presenting to senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 11 years' experience in product management or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
