Senior Product Manager, Automation Software

The product journey is designed to leverage technological excellence to drive customer satisfaction. Walmart's philosophy of Everyday Low Prices is not an easy one to achieve. Being cost-effective is critical because it allows us to optimize all processes and verticals while striving for excellence. Our team is a big part of making this possible. The Fulfillment Automation Software team is responsible for building and scaling next-generation automation solutions across Walmart's fulfillment network. The team focuses on 3rd party automation software and its integration with in-house Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to enable seamless, reliable operations.

What You'll Do...

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for 3rd Party automation product & software, including integration between 3rd party platforms and in-house WMS/WCS systems
  • Act as the single point of contact for site operations, driving resolution of incidents, defects, and system performance issues
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Product, Vendors) to support discovery, development, and deployment of new capabilities
  • Lead onsite execution of system deployments, including testing, validation, and post-deployment reporting
  • Analyze system performance and stability metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous optimization

What You'll Bring...

  • Strong product management experience in fulfillment, supply chain, or warehouse environments
  • Deep understanding of WMS/WCS systems, automation product & software platforms (e.g., ASRS), and system integrations
  • Proven ability to manage incidents, prioritize competing demands, and drive execution in fast-paced onsite environments
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including vendor coordination
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze system performance and translate insights into actionable improvements

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 7 years' experience in product management or related area.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products. We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
