The Software Product Management team is focused on delivering superior entertainment experiences to all VIZIO customers, helping them organize and discover content across all their favorite streaming apps. Our portfolio of products includes SmartCast, our comprehensive OTT platform, and WatchFree+, our owned and operated streaming service that supports more than 300 free channels and over 15,000 ad-supported movies and TV shows on demand. The team is seeking a Product Manager III to help deliver 3rd party developer integration experiences with the VIZIO TV. You will contribute to our developer portal and 3rd party developer tools used to develop web applications distributed on the TV and drive the product roadmap to execute on that vision. The role is cross-functional; working closely with engineering, project management, design, business development, finance and legal to drive engaging customers experiences with 3rd party apps on our platform. This position requires someone with strong analytical drive, product intuition, and experience across 10-foot platform, developer portal integrations and web development.
Define product experiences and enhancements for the developer portal.
Drive roadmap prioritization using business goals and customer insights.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and other product teams to ensure seamless platform integration.
Track program risks, lead mitigations, and communicate status to leadership.
Measure and improve product performance using key metrics and experimentation.
Experience as a product owner in agile environments, working closely with engineering (epics, stories, stand-ups).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in defining requirements and KPIs.
Proven ability to launch and scale user-facing products and services.
Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative experimentation methods.
Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision making.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 5 years' experience in product management or related area.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 2 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
