Senior Product Manager
Data Ventures is on a mission to unlock the full value of Walmart's data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives. We are a nimble, entrepreneurial team operating with a startup mentality, focused on building innovative products that empower merchants and suppliers to make faster, better business decisions. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who thrives in a dynamic, high-velocity environment and has a strong bias for action. You should be comfortable with making swift, data-driven decisions and are passionate about pushing initiatives from idea to execution. This isn't just about managing a feature set; it's about owning a piece of the business and driving tangible results.
What You'll Do
This position is available in Bentonville, AR and is ineligible for immigration sponsorship.
- You will organize sprints, prioritize the backlog, and provide crystal-clear requirements to a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data analysts.
- Actively remove friction and unblock your team to accelerate the delivery of product initiatives and maintain a rapid pace of innovation.
- You will partner with stakeholders to identify new opportunities and define key success indicators, consistently prioritizing features that increase the value of our enterprise product.
- Build strong relationships and influence partners beyond your immediate team to ensure product initiatives have org-wide support and momentum.
What You'll Bring
- A track record of successfully launching multiple products, with deep involvement in go-to-market activities.
- Experience working directly and effectively with engineers, designers, and data analysts within your Scrum ceremonies.
- Excellent user story writing skills, user journey mapping, wireframing, and creating workflow diagrams.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and the Scrum framework.
- You are comfortable with understanding a product's tech stack and can engage in effective technical discussions with engineering partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in platform-level initiatives, creating solutions that span across multiple teams and products.
- Experience in working with UX research.
Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 7 years' experience in product management or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
