The Director of Data Products is the head of the entire Data Product organization. This role ensures alignment of the data strategy with business objectives, overseeing both the Data Products and Data Ecosystem teams. Responsible for leading and guiding teams to deliver business value through data-driven insights and solutions. They work closely with senior leadership to set the direction for the data strategy and ensure data operations are running smoothly. The Data Ecosystem Team is focused on ensuring that the data infrastructure is set up correctly, with strong attention to data governance, quality, and pipeline management. Together, these teams ensure the successful development, implementation, and continuous improvement of data products that drive the business forward. This team ensures the smooth operation of the Data Layers, Data Definition, and Data Pipelines that underpin the data products ensuring that the data ecosystem is reliable, scalable, and optimized for supporting the needs of data products.
This new leader will be responsible for converting the captured data into insights and actionable recommendations for the business. They will lead teams in Customer Segmentation, Customer Journey Analytics, Personalized Recommendations and Data Ecosystem who will play an important role in creating a data-driven customer experience. They work closely with one another, often relying on shared data insights, to improve the customer journey, increase engagement, and drive sales. This team partners more closely with the business team, and the data ecosystem team partners with the IT team.

Focuses on analyzing and categorizing customers into meaningful groups based on various attributes such as demographics, behavior, preferences, and interactions with the brand. The goal is to enable personalized marketing, sales strategies, and improved customer targeting. Responsible for Customer Data Platform (CDP) including transaction history, browsing behavior, social media interactions, customer support data, and more. Segments will be fed into marketing automation systems, CRM tools, and other business systems to facilitate personalized marketing, customer service strategies, and tailored experiences.
Customer Journey Analytics Team:
