Principal Product Manager
You will be a key member of the Supply Chain Product Management team that is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivering the next generation digital experience to our customers.
As Principal Product Manager, you will influence the strategy and drive delivery for our online shopping experience. This domain includes Total Customer Experience with capabilities such as e-Commerce order management, customer care center, Omnichannel fulfillment and Marketplace. You will build highly engaging customer facing experiences and customer service agent facing experiences. You will work with amazing peers, UX designers, architects, engineers and business partners to help push the boundaries of digital innovation.
The right candidate is passionate about building great customer experiences, has an analytical mindset and is familiar with software development processes. The candidate will have technical aptitude, a strong sense of ownership, and excellent communication style across different audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Research market and industry trends in supply chain customer experience, and customer care center space. Understand best practices and determine if those can be incorporated to provide an enhanced experience to the customer.
- Experience in organizing, planning, and executing omnichannel Supply Chain and Ecommerce projects from inception to implementation.
- Support cross-functional teams by being the subject matter expert, able to answer questions and make clear recommendations.
- Define user stories and develop program backlog to facilitate iterative execution of initiatives.
- Lead product strategy and roadmap development for the supply chain and Transportation domain areas supporting all brands and channels.
- Collaborate with Business partners, engineering teams and program management to drive business value and transformation across the supply chain domain.
- Drive meaningful business engagement catered to the unique nuances of each business stakeholder team that builds credibility and trust.
- Collaborate with Technology partners to drive execution and iterative delivery of initiatives.
- Clearly identify and measure KPIs "that not only help us decide what to do, but that are needle moving metrics for the business that can be measured before, during and after they are live in production".
- Proven ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization. Prior experience working as a technical developer is needed.
- Take ownership to drive execution of assigned initiatives.
- Effective use of AI for day-to-day Product Management activities to generate context documents, PRDs to facilitate Agentic development and AI assisted development.
Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years of product management or related experience
- Must have experience in Retail and eCommerce
- Should have experience in driving large initiatives in eCommerce, order management and omnichannel domain areas.
- Experience in eCommerce, Order Management, Payments, Omnichannel, Logistics, Transportation domain areas.
- Experienced to develop business work flows by partnering with business and technology teams.
- Understand the journey of an order from the time of order placement to delivery.
- Ability to analyze large data sets to identify anomalies in data and come up with creative opportunities to improve delivery date provided to the customer.
- Ability to break the problem in to smaller components, articulate it clearly to architects and engineering leads to develop solutions that help in meeting overall objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong drive towards execution and focus on outcome/results.
- Demonstrate proof of usage of AI tools to generate product and project specific documents.
- The following are a plus:
- Good understanding of relational databases and no sql databases.
- Experienced in writing and executing sql statements.
- Experience in analyzing large data sets using Microsoft excel or similar tools is a must.
- Ability to view the problem through data lens and translate that to business impact.
- Certification in Agile development methodologies.
- This role requires being onsite in the office Monday through Thursday.
