We are seeking a highly motivated, pro-active Entry-Level Electrical Designer for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for delivering quality electrical system design across a variety of market sectors including commercial, healthcare, and higher education. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys.
• Prepare concept, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
• Conduct code research and incorporate applicable requirements into the design
• Conduct material research and compile project data for the project.
• Prepare project specifications.
• Communicate with project team and consultants and coordinate work
• Review Shop Drawings, respond to and track RFI's.
• Attend construction meetings, make periodic site observation visits
• Prepare and update punch lists as required.
• Maintain and archive electronic project files
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and other project correspondence.
• Attend project meetings
• Participate in client meetings to understand project goals and communicate technical solutions.
• Assist senior staff in maintaining and strengthening client relationships.
• Contribute to proposal development and support business development efforts.
• Represent the firm professionally in networking, industry events, and client-facing interactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• 1-4 years of experience in electrical design for multi-disciplinary building projects.
• Experience in client management, business development, and technical project coordination.
• EIT certification a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for creating construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Experience with Education, Commercial, Government, and Hospitality projects preferred.
• Skilled in specification editing, electrical calculations, and system layout.
• Familiar with commissioning support, punch lists, and shop drawing reviews.
• Able to work independently with guidance from senior staff.
• Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Willing to perform fieldwork and site visits; reliable transportation required.
