Why We're Hiring:

We seek a Product Owner to support agile delivery for WPP Open, our AI powered marketing platform. You'll translate product vision into actionable deliverables, collaborating with engineers, designers, and data scientists to bring AI-driven marketing solutions to life.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reporting to the Director Product Ownership, WPP Open, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating end-to-end agile delivery of specific features/epics within the WPP Open roadmap, collaborating with delivery and engineering.
  • Partnering with engineering throughout the product lifecycle, helping to remove roadblocks and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Collaborating with Product Leadership to translate overall product vision/strategy into detailed, executable plans.
  • Defining, writing, and refining detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for features, aligning with product vision.
  • Managing and maintaining a prioritised product backlog, reflecting strategy, stakeholder feedback, and development capacity.
  • Conducting market and customer analysis for features to inform requirements and ensure user value.
  • Staying abreast of emerging AI/ML and marketing technology trends to inform feature development.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, relevant stakeholders) to define epics and user stories.
  • Validating, prioritising, and integrating new product requests into the backlog, ensuring alignment.
  • Participating in the validation and design of new product ideas at the feature level.
  • Supporting the alignment of feature roadmaps and dependency management with other product teams.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clarity on requirements.

What You'll Need:

  • Relevant experience as a Product Owner, focused on agile delivery for SaaS platforms.
  • Ability to translate product strategy into actionable backlogs and support agile development teams.
  • Understanding of AI/ML and marketing technology trends, particularly for feature development.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in user research and competitive analysis at the feature level.
  • Strong skills in backlog management, writing user stories, and prioritisation.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
  • Certified Agile Product Owner or equivalent practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Passion for innovation and contributing to cutting-edge marketing solutions.
