Product Management Leader For Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Services

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building cloud services and/or data services in major cloud providers. This Product Management leader will define major parts of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Data Services and collaborate closely with engineering, architects, and OCI product managers to shape the vision, gather requirements, own, and execute the data platform's roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Product Leadership

  • Define the roadmap for critical areas of the Cloud Data Services (OLTP transactional processing platforms and OLAP Analytics platforms) at OCI, ensuring alignment with business objectives and establishing industry leadership
  • Stay abreast and hands-on with emerging Data Services trends and technologies

Execution & Roadmap Delivery

  • Take ownership of the product roadmap and delivery
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality OCI Data Services portfolio
  • Provide detailed technical requirements for the platform development team
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact and customer feedback
  • Establish metrics to measure the success and adoption of the OCI data platforms and PaaS services

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Strong ability to partner with engineering, architect, and pillar PMs to build a clear vision and execute on the roadmap, balancing the competing needs
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices to empower partner teams in utilizing the data services platforms
  • Present to executive audiences, partners, customers and articulate platform vision and key benefits

Qualifications

7-10 years of product management experience, with at least 5+ years focused on data platforms and services

Experience building Data platforms and launching features and cloud services to production

Deep understanding of the state-of-the-art in OLTP technologies and/or Analytics platforms and/or cloud services

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data services capabilities into real-world applications

Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Experience working in agile development environments and driving cross-functional teams to success

Technical background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) preferred

Strong passion for and familiarity with AI technologies is preferred

Preferred Skills

Experience in deploying cloud data services in large-scale enterprise environments

Familiarity with cloud-based data services and cloud-based enterprise applications

Passion for innovation and staying ahead of cloud data services trends

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $155,600 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
