International Product Compliance Manager
Intuit is embarking on its most ambitious international expansion to date, and this role will help to build the foundation that allows us to scale confidently. You will have a seat at the table for high-impact global initiatives, enabling the business to move faster and smarter.
As the International Product Compliance Manager, you will be the strategic architect of our global compliance framework. You will provide consistent, proactive compliance positions for all products and services as we aggressively expand into new international jurisdictions.
Your mission is to manage the complexity of global regulatory requirements, enabling high-velocity innovation while ensuring our expansion remains grounded in ironclad risk mitigation. You will act as a deeply integrated partner to our product and Go-to-Market teams, ensuring that compliance is a catalyst for growth rather than a hurdle.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Compliance Design: Develop and maintain international compliance positions, ensuring that controls meet the rigorous expectations of global regulators, auditors, and partners.
- Risk Assessment: Lead the compliance risk evaluation for new and existing products across diverse international markets.
- Regulatory Advisory: Act as the subject matter expert on emerging international regulations and licensing requirements across multiple Business Units (BUs) and business models.
- Product Launch Support: Manage the compliance review lifecycle for new features and market entries, ensuring full adherence to local regulatory frameworks from ideation to launch.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to embed compliance expertise early in the product development lifecycle, increasing launch velocity.
- Global Alignment: Drive a cohesive regulatory narrative to prevent fragmented compliance positions across different jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in legal or regulatory compliance, specifically focused on international product scaling (FinTech or SaaS experience preferred).
- Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of global compliance regimes, including data privacy, consumer rights, and product-specific licensing.
- Strategic Judgment: Proven ability to exercise high-level legal judgment across evolving products and multiple global jurisdictions.
- Collaborative Mindset: Experience working as an 'embedded' partner within business and product teams.
- Scale & Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where regulatory landscapes shift rapidly.
